
Carrie Zack, Founder
Inspired creativity, attention to detail, and an ability to connect with her clients are just a part of what has made Carrie Zack’s boutique event planning company one of the most sought-after in Southern California. Along with her business savvy and industry connections, Carrie has taken the time to thoroughly learn every aspect of the business, from the visually aesthetic, including décor and floral arrangements, to the culinary and logistic.
Carrie’s curriculum vitae include working as a personal chef and ownership of a catering and event-planning company in her hometown of Vancouver B.C. After selling her business and following her dream of moving to Los Angeles, she earned a degree in Visual Communications from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) and more on-the-job experience coordinating worldwide events for the FIDM Alumni Association. She began to manage private events in her spare time and gradually built her business as word of mouth grew.
In 2003, she founded Carrie Zack Events, an event planning company that specializes in creating extraordinary weddings and unique events for individuals and companies. Whether planning an intimate soiree or an event on a grander scale, Carrie’s ability to uncover her client’s unique style is that little something extra that earns her numerous referrals and a loyal clientele.
Carrie coordinated Nip/Tuck star Jessalyn Gilsig’s marriage to producer Bobby Salomon, which appeared in InStyle Weddings, and numerous other weddings featured in trade publications and bridal magazines. She was invited to participate in the prestigious Four Seasons Beverly Hills Wedding Salon in September 2006. An industry favorite, Carrie’s clients have also included top fashion and beauty companies such as Sonya Dakar. Most recently Carrie Zack Events has expanded to include a Creative Consulting Division.
Carrie Zack is a Member of the International Special Events Society (ISES) and the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC).
